Tagore Educational Trust was founded and registered in 1997 as a non-profit
and charitable organization constituted by a group of Philanthropists,
Educationists and Industrialists with rich and varied experience in
different fields. The Trust is headed by dynamic and vibrant Chairperson,
Prof. Ms.Mala, M.A., M.Phil.
The Trust has the main objective of promoting education by establishing a number
of institutions in different specialities such as Engineering &
Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry
as well as Arts & Science, Commerce and Physical Education. The
ultimate aim of the Trust is to develop these institutions of higher
learning as centers of research and development, so that they could
constitute a University in due course. The Trust is being guided by
the advice of many educationists, notably Dr.S.Jagathrakshakan, who
himself is an educational administrators of long experience as well
as seasoned parliamentarian.

All our Institutions have impressive and imposing multistoried buildings with
all amenities to accommodate Classrooms, Laboratories, Library, Drawing
Hall, Office, Computer Laboratory, Research Centre, Recreation Halls,
Auditorium, Sports Room, Placement Cell, Canteen and Fine arts Clubs.

The College has a Placement Cell under the supervision of fully qualified Placement
Officer assisted by two other staff members. The cell has been interacting
with industries and business centers to conduct campus interviews
for placement assistance to large number of students.
