Asan Memorial Institute of
Hotel Management & Catering Technology Institute,
established in 1986, is one of the pioneering Institutions
in hotel management and catering technology in the private
sector. The Institute aims at developing competent professionals
for the hospitality industry, through a high quality training
programme with greater focus on practical training.

FOOD PRODUCTION AND PATISSERIE KITCHEN:
State-of-the-art designed and equipped with latest facilities
and appliances to meet today's food production innovation
on par with global standards.
BASIC TRAINING KITCHEN for fresher to
train in basic food-production and processing techniques
and menu planning.
QUANTITY TRAINING KITCHEN - where second
years are taught bulk cooking and quick heating and re-heating
techniques with food costing and yield management.
ADVANCED TRAINING KITCHEN - well equipped
and designed with modern facilities, utility concerns
incorporating sanitation and safety, where students are
trained in batches.
BAKERY & CONFECTIONARY is well equipped
with all baking needs. Breads and different types of pastries
of international Standards are prepared here.
TRAINING RESTAURANTS AND PANTRY - A spacious
training restaurant with state-of-the-art design which
can accommodate 75 people is exclusively designed to train
students in practicing, receiving guests, handling bills,
order taking and food and beverage service. Activities
like theme lunch, buffets and a la'carte services are
imparted here.
Students are trained in leadership management skills and
are moulded to meet global standards. It consists of a
bar counter where students are trained for professional
bar tending with highly qualified and experienced faculties.
FRONT OFFICE - Equipped with HMS software
and computerized reception, students are trained in soft
skills, handling latest comm -munication devices, practicing
telephone etiquettes and customer care with highly experienced
faculties.
ACCOMODATION OPERATION - Here students
are trained to furnish and equippe the room with modern
amenities and guests' supplies. A suite room is designed
with state-of-the-art design and modern facilities equal
to a five star hotel modern room. Students are not only
trained in room furnishing but also in accommodation operation.
COMPUTER DEPARTMENT - Modern computer
equipped with latest packages similar to hotels where
students can sharpen their Software skills in Hotel Management
Software - room revenue management and also connected
with broadband facilities.
CONFERENCE & SEMINAR HALL - Well
designed and spacious conference and seminar hall are
equipped with needed facilities to conduct the guest lectures
from hotel industry, seminars and conferences with high
end gadgets.
SPORTS - A spacious open ground is part
of our institute consisting of 1(1/2) acres where students
are coached by physical director in various sports activities
to a competitive level in track and field events in overall
championship in sports.
LIBRARY - More than 300 titles with collections
of 1500 latest books and periodicals are available. Digital
referral facilities and latest teaching techniques using
audio visual aids are also available.
AUDITORIUM - Exclusively designed for
special functions like State level Seminar, National level
Competitions and other cultural functions connected with
the industry are conducted here, Where we seat more than
800 students with a aquatics audio system with special
lights
TRANSPORT: Our buses ply from college
to various parts of the city.
HOSTEL: Separate hostel facilities are
available for both boys and girls within the campus.

A placement officer with an assistant is
incharge of placement cell where placement and training
in industry is taken care of for the students. Campus
interviews are organized inviting people from Taj Group,
Oberoi Group, Welcome Group, Holiday Inn, The Park, GRT,
Residency, Le Meridian, Ramada, Cruise Lines, Airways,
Industrial catering concerns, Merchant Navy etc. Students
are assured 100% placement.
Auxiliary courses in first aid, fire fighting & personality
development are also conducted.
