Cluster college programme meet
A meeting of ‘Cluster College programme’ was organised
for the faculty of Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi,
on July 4 by Curriculem Development Cell and Faculty Academic
Forum.
College Principal, S.Kanmani, presided over the programme. D.Balasubramanian,
Principal of Arasan Ganesan Polytechnic College, Sivakasi, who
was the chief guest, inaugurated the programme.
In her presidential address, Dr.Kanmani said that forming clusters
using institutes of higher learning was essential to generate
employable graduates.
Mr. Balasubramanian spoke about the importance and benefits
of interaction between technician institution and arts and science
college.
A campus interview was conducted recently by ‘The Ambassador’s
Sky Chef,’ New Delhi, at Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi.
Its general manager, Murali Krishnan and Chef, Sunil Sandillya,
were among the panel members, who conducted the interview.
Renji Rajan, a final year B.Sc. Catering Student was selected
as an executive trainee. A parent’s teacher’s association
meeting was held at college on July 2, the opening day for undergraduate
courses. Around 700 parents participated in the meeting along
with their wards. College Secretary, A.P.Selvarajan, Principal,
S.Kanmani spoke.
