Agricultural University offers two certificate courses
Tiruchi: The Tamil Nadu Agricultural University will offer two
certificate courses in horticulture under the open distance
learning programme.
They are Nursery technology for horticultural crops and Landscaping.
The Anbil Dharmalingam Agricultural College and Research Institute
in Tiruchi will function as a study centre for these two courses.
College students, unemployed graduates, farmers, housewives
and others fluent in Tamil can join the programme.
The course is for six months and the fee is Rs.1,500 per subject.
The course commences in July and ends in December.
Horticultural experts of the institute will be the resource
persons during the study period.
