"Kings College Of Engineering" (KCE), was born out of a dream
and vision to provide education with unparalleled quality to the young
and enthusiastic students of our nation. The drive from the management
and dedication of the faculty saw KCE rise to the status of one of the
most prestigious institution in this part of the country.
KCE, run by the Raj Educational Trust (RET), Chennai, is a fast growing
Technical Institution in the State of Tamil Nadu with a great promise
of leading the pack in quality and standards. RET is a registered trust
under the Tamil Nadu Registration Act. The main ambition/goal of the
Trust is to establish, maintain and administrate Educational Institutions
to empower the poor backward communities of rural India with the power
of Knowledge. We strive and endeavor every passing day to attain this
goal of ours and hence have detailed short term and long-term goals
set for KCE.

KCE's Labs and other conventional facilities are one of the best in
the region, making it the most sought after institution by parents and
students alike. The ultra modern computer labs with the latest hardware
and software technologies, makes it a learning haven for IT enthusiasts.
The college is equipped with a 24 hours online OFC (Optical Fiber
Cable) Broadband, up to 2 MB, bandwidth, high speed internet connection
with an advanced Internet Lab compiling latest computers.
The college is also equipped with an independent, comprehensive library
Block. About 25000 volumes of books and 70+ science journals are part
of the growing collection. The library has audio-visual equipments to
handle a very special collection of audio-video journals.
The scenic landscapes, well-equipped classrooms and vast playgrounds,
create the best-suited ambience for productive learning and stimulate
creativity in the students.
KCE has a well-equipped computer lab with the latest Hardware to set
up a motivating environment for research and advanced studies.

A student can in effect walk in with a high school certificate and after
four years of immense training and rigorous schedules walk out with
a well-paid job on his or her hands. The college with its very own placement
cell (headed by our Vice-Principal and supported by all the different
HODs) and affiliation to other organizations offering campus interviews
has been successful in acquiring jobs for well deserving students.
Students have procured provisional job placements even before appearing
for their exams. Now that is something one does not get in every other
college. KCE with all this and more will prove to be a haven for students
