Applications are invited for admission to the following Post
Graduate Degree / Under Graduate Degree / PG Diploma / Diploma
Courses in the Central Insitute of Plastics Engineering &
Technology (CIPET) for the academic year 2008-09.
Programs Offered: M.Tech, B.Tech, PGDPE, CAD/CAM, PGD-PPT,
PD-CADPMD, PD_MM, DPMT / PD-PMT, DPT / PD-PT.

Last Date for Receipt of filled Application Forms: 16.06.2008

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.400/-
By Post: Rs.400/- with self addressed envelope size of 35cm
X 25cm stamped for Rs.50/-
Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "Director General, CIPET" payable
at Chennai from any Nationalised Bank dated not earlier than
01.04.2008. The name and address of the candidate should be
written in the reverse of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application form can be obtained
from any of CIPET centres given below.
- By Post: Application form can be obtained
on payment by Demand Draft towards application along with
a requisition letter from any of the CIPET centres for ordinary
post along with the DD enclose a self addressed envelope
of size 35cm x 25cm stamped for Rs.50/-.

website, after filling the required details and the same
may be sent along with DD towards registration fee.
Eligbility:
- PG Gegree: 4 yrs Degree B.E, B.Tech in Mechanical
/ Chemical / Production / Polymer Engg / M.Sc Polymer Science
/ Chemistry with Polymer. Max. Age: 35 yrs.
- UG Degree: 10th +2 OR equivalent with Mathametics,
Physics and Chemistry. Max. Age: 21 yrs.
- Post Graduate Diploma:
For PGD-PE: B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc Engg in Mech, Chem, Production,
Polymer, Electrical and Electronics, Instrumentation, Petrochemical,
Mechatronics. Max. Age: 26 yrs.
For PGD-CadPE: B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Production,
polymer tool. Max. Age: 26 yrs.
For PGD-PPT: 3yrs Degree in Science with Cemistry. Max.
Age: 24 yrs.
Note : Canditates appearing for the entry Qualification Examination
and awating Results may also apply. Age Limit is Relaxable upto
5 yrs for Applicants sponsored by industries. SC/ST catagory
and Applicants from north Eastern Region.
