Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET) -
2008
Applications are invited for National Level Common Entrance
Test NIMCET 2008 for the session 2008-09, conducted by NITs
for admission to MCA programme offered by the following NITs:
MNNIT, Allahabad; MANIT, Bhopal; NIT, Calicut; NIT, Durgapur;
NIT, Jamshedpur; NIT, Kurukshetra; NIT, Raipur; NITK, Surathkal;
NIT, Tiruchirappalli and NIT, Warangal.

Important Dates to Remember:
Issue of application forms from website: 22.02.2008
Last Date for Receipt of Application Forms with DD: 31.03.2008
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 18.05.2008 (10:00 AM
to 12:00 PM)
Application Cost:
Rs.700/- (General) and Rs.350/- (SC/ST)
Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Chairman, NIMCET-2008",
payable at Surathkal / Mangalore from any Nationalised bank
on or before 31.03.2008. The name and address of the candidate
should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.

from the website www.nitk.ac.in.
For online registration, please read the instructions given
in the website carefully.
Eligbility:
Indian Nationals having minimum 60% aggregate marks in each
of the examinations of (i) 12th level (ii) Bachelor's Degree
of Full Time 3 year duration from a recognized university with
Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics as one of the
subjects in any one semester / year in the above (i) and (ii)
mentioned courses, are eligible to apply. SC/ST candidates with
minimum 55% aggregate marks are eligible. The candidates who
are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible
to appear for NIMCET-08. Such candidates shall have to furnish
the proof of fulfilling the eligibility criteria of NIMCET-08
perferably at the time of Counseling / Admission but not later
than 31st July, 2008.
The completed application forms should reach "The
Chairman, NIMCET-2008, NITK, Surathkal, Mangalore - 575 025"
on or before 31.03.2008. |
