Applications are invited for Admission to Vinayaka Missions
University, Salem Engineering programs conducted in two campuses
- Vinayaka Mission's Kirupanandha Variyar Engineering College,
Salem and Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology, Chennai for
2008-09.
Programs Offered: B.E, M.E, M.B.A, M.C.A

Issue of Application Forms: 07.03.2008
Last Date for Issue/Receipt of Application Forms with D.D: 05.05.2008
The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 17.05.2008
UG: 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM
PG: 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM
Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.600/- (UG Programme) and Rs.700/- (PG Programme)
By Post (including postal charges): Rs.700/- (UG Programme)
and Rs.800/- (PG Programme)
Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "Vinayaka Missions University"
payable at Salem / Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The name
and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse
of the demand draft.
Application Forms:
- In Person: Application forms can be obtained
from the nearest Head / Sub Post Office or from our Chennai
/ Salem office on payment by Cash.
- By Post: Application form can also be obtained
by post by sending Demand Draft along with a requisition
letter and a self addressed slip to any of the below address.
- Through Website: Application Forms can be
downloaded from the websites www.vinayakamission.com,
www.vmkvec.ac.in,
www.avit.ac.in
and send the application along with Demand Draft towards
registration fee.
Mode of Selection:
Selection will be made on merit, based on the marks secured
in the entrance examinations conducted on All India basis. The
college and course will be allotted through counselling. Admission
to B.Arch will be subject to the Aptitude Test to be held seperately
conducted by NATA.
Eligbility:
UG: A pass in 10+2 or its equivalent with individual
pass in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. For Biotechnology,
Bioinformatics & Biomedical courses, a pass in 10+2 or its
equivalent with individual pass in Mathematics / Biology &
Chemistry, Candidates appearing for 10+2 Examinations in March
/ April 2008 can also apply. For B.Arch course a pass in 10+2
equivalent with not less than 50% aggregate marks with Mathematics
as a subject.
PG: A pass in Bachelor's degree are its equivalent
in the relevent area of specialization. Candidates are appearing
for Final Examinations in March / April 2008 can also apply.
The completed application forms should reach any of the below
address on or before 05.05.2008.
