November 15, 2009 - Indian Maritime University, Chennai, admissions in Diploma in Nautical Science 2010 -2012

Indian Maritime University (IMU), a Central University, has invited applications for admission to the Diploma in Nautical Science, leading to B.Sc Nautical Science, at IMU Campuses and Affiliated Colleges/Institutes, for the February, 2010 batch. This course is aimed at orienting the cadets for the equivalent life at sea by providing vocationally oriented education and training so as to help them become officers in the Merchant Navy.

Application Forms:

• In Person: Prospectus can be obtained from IMU on weekdays (working hours) on payment of Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST applicants) by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indian Maritime University, payable at Chennai, from 18.11.2009.
  
• Through Website: Application can be downloaded from www.imu.tn.nic.in. The filled in application form (Form A) along with the requisite fee of Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST applicants) by DD drawn in favour of Indian Maritime University payable at Chennai, should reach in an envelope superscribed application form for Diploma in Nautical Science to the Head (Nautical science), IMU, Chennai on or before 08.12.2009.
