Vael's Educational Trust is a private, chartable and educational organisation
established in 1992. The Trust was founded by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh,
M.Com., B.L., Ph.D, M.B.A., a visionary and an eminent educationist,
in fond memory of his reserved father Thiru Ishari D. Velan,
who was a member , Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly, Deputy Minister,
Government of Tami Nadu and a well known Cine Artiste.
The main objectives of the Trust are
To stress the need for job oriented education
To inculcate self - reliance in the young minds and
To prepare the younger generation for a better future and stimulate
intellectual response to challenges.
The Department offers a two years full time P.G. Courses M.B.A . comprising four
semesters and affiliated to the University of Madras. The admission
is based on merit through our entrance examination followed by group
discussion and personal interviews as per the norms laid down by the
AICT, New Delhi. During the first year of the the programme, the students
are exposed to the fundamental concepts underlying the functional
areas of management such as personnel, production, finance, marketing
etc., In the second year, three is greater emphasis on applied knowledge
and also deepen their understanding of organizational problems in
real business situations
The management courses at Vel's has its own unique features. It aims
to produce executives who can emerge as leaders of industry / administration
in course of time.

Vel's has all the required infrastructural facilities to inculcate the traits
of leadership in everyone entering the course. The library is endowed
with a good collection of authoritative books on management.
Manager with proven track records are invited to interact with the students.
This gives ample exposure to the filed problems they have to face
in later date. Necessary training is imparted by means of visits to
the companies. To fall in line with the present trend Vel's has enough
number of computers to give adequate hours of hands - on experience
to each student. This will enable them to solve the managerial problems
through the user of computer. Classes are conducted in spacious rooms;
an atmosphere for group discussions, use of transparencies with overhead
projectors are provided in the newly constructed MBA as part block

Full-fledged Placement activities
are done at Vel's Group of Educational Institutions, with a centralized
placement cell. Training Programmes on Soft Skills are also imparted
on a regular basis, thus moulding the students to face the present recruitment
processes.
Average Placement every year is 50% before passing out and more than
90% within 3 months after completion.
Reputed corporate visit Vel's Campus every year for recruitment. Major
Companies visited during 2005 - 2006 are K-LINE Shipping, ANGLO-EASTERN
Shipping, TANKER PACIFIC, Taj Group of Hotels, Oberoi Group of Hotels,
