A very important branch of Health Science is Physiotherapy. R.V.S. College
of Physiotherapy with affiliation from Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R Medical
University the BPT degree course was started in 1995-96. Manned by
a team of well-qualified faculty and with all the modern gadgets and
laboratories it is offering excellent training. For all specializations
eminent medical personnel from within and outside the State come down
for special lectures. Special clinical posting and internship training
is carried out with all leading hospitals. Inter-Collegiate sports
and cultural meets are annually organized. This encourages curricular
and extra-curricular interaction with students from all over Tamilnadu.
To impart in-depth knowledge and skill to become professionally competent in
health care services. To develop the right attitude for compassion,
concern for individuals and welfare of the physically, mentally handicapped
in the community. Promote skill in teaching management Research guidance
and counselling Practices moral and ethical values.

Our College has well equipped spacious laboratories. It includes ANATOMY LAB,
PHYSIOLOGY LAB, MICRO BIOLOGY LAB, BIO CHEMISTRY LAB, EXERCISE THERAPY
LAB, ELECTRO THERAPY.
Our college functions with a well established library. It has a collection
of about 1550 books ,subscriptions from medical journals ,magazines
and news letters. In addition to the basic books in Anatomy, Physiology,
General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Electrotherapy, Biomechanics,
Excercise therapy, Neurology, Cardiology and Pulmonology.

medical team. The placement Prospects of Physiotherapists are always
been promising. Students graduated from our College has been well
placed in many speciality hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation
homes and as a consultant to the sports club in India and abroad.
