Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic College is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, Govt. of
India vide No.730 - 52 - 145 (E) ET / 96 dated 30.04.1996 and Directorate of Technical Education, Govt. of Tamilnadu vide
No. 145 / H4 / 1996 dated 09.07.1996. This was established in the year 1996 with a purpose of affording the opportunity to
the young men and women to equip themselves for employment. The job oriented courses at Aalim Muhammed Salegh Polytechnic
College are backed up with excellent infrastructural and training facilities. This has enabled students to excel in
knowledge and skills required at professional levels.

Library: Libraries are the soul of every Institutions of higher
learning. It is here that the students develop their own individual
style of learning and reach out for more. The pursuance of excellence
is a worthy goal for any student, scholar or academic. Keeping with
this belief, Aalim Muhammed Salegh Group of Educational Institutions
have spacious libraries with a good collection of books.
Apart from books, the library subscribes to a number of Publications
both National and International journals to keep the students abreast
on developments of their interest as well as on general topics.
Laboratory:In any Institutions of higher education, its standard
is indicated by the sophistication of its laboratories. At Aalim Muhammed
Salegh Group of Educational Institutions the faculty as well as the
students are encouraged and given full support to pursue their research
according to various syllabus of different courses. With this objective
in mind the laboratories at Aalim Muhammed Salegh Group of Educational
Institutions have been set up with elaborate facilities.
Further, they are constantly being upgraded in terms of equipment
and other support systems so as to provide infrastructure to carry
out Fundamental and Applied research.

Our polytechnic has an active Placement Section, managed by a Placement officer and
supporting faculty. The section organises the campus interviews every
year for the benefit of the students of all the department in the
polytechnic.

The Polytechnic college is situated at Avadi - IAF, within walkable
distance from Pattabiram Military Siding Railway Station. Frequent
train services are being operated from Chennai Central Suburban and
Beach Railway Stations. Apart from train services, a number of MTC
buses are plying from all corners of the city to reach our Polytechnic
College.
