Cost of Application and Registration Fee: Rs.600/- (General) and Rs.300/- (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates)

Mode of Payment (DD):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Director (Research), Anna University Chennai" payable at Chennai from any Nationalised bank. The name and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.

• Through Website: Application Form can be downloaded from the website www.annauniv.edu/research and send the application along with Demand Draft towards registration fee.

General Eligibility for Ph.D:

• Master's Degree of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent there to in the fields of study notified from time to time by this University. Specific Educational Qualifications are given below.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study with a minimum of 15 Years of R & D Experience in National research laboratories / Public sector undertakings and with minimum of three publications in referred journals / two patents in the last five years.
• A minimum of 55% percent marks/CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50 percent marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale, in the case of SC/ST candidates). For M.A (English) Degree holders including SC/ST applicants a minimum of 50 percent marks is necessary.
• The above Clause does not apply if the qualifying degree is M.S (By Research) of this University or recognized as equivalent.

Ph.D. Degree in Management Studies.	MBA / Post Graduate diploma in Business Management or Administration awarded by Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) / M.S (By Research) in Management Studies
Ph.D. Degree in Architecture and Planning	M.Arch. / M.Plan / M.S. (By Research) in Architecture and Planning

General Eligibility for M.S (By Research):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / M.Sc in Science of this University or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the fields of study notified from time to time by this University. Specific Educational Qualifications are given below.
• A minimum of 55% percent marks/CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale in the qualifying examination (50 percent marks or CGPA of 5.0 on a 10 point scale, in the case of SC/ST candidates). For M.A (English) Degree holders including SC/ST applicants a minimum of 55 percent marks is necessary.

Note: The candidates working in the Affiliated Engineering Colleges situated in the districts of Chennai, Kanchipuram, Thiruvallur, Vellore, Thiruvannamalai and Villupuram are only eligible to apply under part time category.
