Applications are invited for the unified single window admission Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following regular courses of this University for the academic year 2009 - 10.

Programs Offered:
1. Ph. D Full Time/ Part Time in Physical Education, Yoga, Advanced Training & Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition, Sports Psychology & Sociology, Sports Bio-Mechanics & Kinesiology, Sports Management, Sports Management and concerned subject. Duration: 3/2 Years.
2. M. Phil in Physical Education. Eligibility: M. P. Ed/ M.P.E. Duration: 1 Years.
3. M. Phil in Yoga, Advanced Training & Coaching, Exercise Physiology & Nutrition Sports Psychology & Sociology, Sports Bio-Mechanics & Kinesiology, Sports Management and Sports Technology. Eligibility: Master Degree in the concerned subject. Duration: 1 Year.
4. MBA in Sports Managenment, Eligibility: Any Degree, Duration: 2 Years.
5. M. Sc (Yoga), Eligibility: Any Degree, Duration: 2 Years.
6. M. Sc (Sports Coaching), Eligibility: Any Degree with Diploma in Coaching. Duration: 2 Years.
7. M. Sc (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition), Eligibility: Any Science Degree, Duration: 2 Years.
8. M. Sc (Sports Psychology and Sociology), Eligibility: Any Degree. Duration: 2 Years
9. M. Sc (Sports Bio-Mechanics and Kinesiology), Eligibility: Any Degree, Duration: 2 Years.
10. PG Diploma in Fitness and Wellness Management, Adapted Physical Education, Applied Statistics in Physical Education, Yoga, Yoga for Fitness and Wellness and Sports Physiotherapy, Eligibility: Any Degree, Duration: 1 Year.
11. Diploma in Sports Coaching (Similar to NSNIS Programme), Eligibility: Any Degree, Duration: 1 year.
12. B. Sc (Exercise Physiology and Nutrition), Eligibility: +2 (Group I or Group II), Duration: 3 Years.

Last Date for Receipt of completed Application Forms: 16.05.2009 Extended to 15.07.2009

Application Cost:
In Person: Rs.300/- (General) and Rs.150/- for (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) and for Ph.D Rs.500/-
By Post: Rs.375/- (General) and Rs.225/- for (Tamil Nadu SC/ST candidates) and for Ph.D Rs.575/-

Mode of Payment (DD / Cash):
Demand Draft in favour of "The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University ", payable at Chennai. The name and address of the candidate should be written in the reverse of the demand draft.
Application Forms:

• By Post: From "The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, 8th Floor, E.V.K. Sampath Maaligai, College Road, Chennai - 6" by sending a letter along with DD and an address label written in capital letters to which the application is to be mailed.
  
  
• Through Website: Fill the Online Application from the website www.tnpesu.org and send the application along with Demand Draft towards registration fee.

The completed application forms should reach "The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, 8th Floor, E.V.K. Sampath Maaligai, College Road, Chennai - 600 006" on or before 16.05.2009, by 05:30 PM. Students appeared for examination in April / May 2009 can also apply. For MBA Sports Management, a seperate entrance test will be conducted by the University.
